Stuart Green received his M. M. in classical guitar performance from the University of Redlands. His mentor was Terry Graves; a founding member of the internationally acclaimed Falla Guitar Trio. Stuart has studied additionally with Kenton Youngstrom, John Holmquist, Dusan Bogdanovic, and also performed for Christopher Parkening in a 1994 master class. In 2001, Stuart was invited to speak on a panel with some of the most renowned classical guitar educators in the world. This panel was hosted by Fredrick Noad at the La Guitarra California Festival in San Luis Obispo. Currently, Stuart is teaching the classical guitar at California State University, San Bernardino. He directs the Cal State guitar ensemble and also presents solo recitals. His instruments are two guitars made by American luthier Paul Jacobson (Missouri) in 1989 and 1990.
